
Columbia High School boys’ swimmer Henry Scott captured two events at the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association Meet of Champions on Sunday at Gloucester County Institute of Technology in Sewell.
Scott, a senior, won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:42.14, which is the third fastest time in the state this season.
Scott came back and won the 100-yard butterfly in 50.59, the second fastest time in the state.
Scott, who will attend Cornell University, became just the fifth Essex County boys’ swimmer in the past 21 years to win a Meet of Champions title.
