Vic De Luca will be mayor of Maplewood for a fourth year in a row starting in January, top Democrats said Nov. 30.
“That’s what it looks like,” party Chairman Ian R. Grodman said in a phone interview.

Maplewood Mayor Vic De Luca and first-time candidate India Larrier defeated their two Republican opponents in a landslide Tuesday to win the race for Township Committee.
In a race devoid of any drama, De Luca was the top vote-getter with 2,996, followed by Larrier with 2,879 votes, according to unofficial totals.

Maplewood Democrats are expected to chose Mayor Vic De Luca and one other candidate for Township Committee on March 28 to run on the party line in the June 7 primary.
