Longtime commissioner leaves SO Parking Authority

Longtime South Orange Parking Authority Commissioner Jeff DuBowy announced July 13 he will leave the board.

DuBowy, a commissioner for the past 13 years, turned in his letter of resignation last week.

In a phone interview last week, he said he made the decision because it is “time to move on.” He said his resignation is effective July 31.

Alleged cell-phone snatchers arrested

Quinton McCleese-Stokes of Newark, Jassiem Harper of Irvington, and two juveniles from Irvington were recently arrested for allegedly stealing cell phones from multiple victims last week.
