WATCHUNG AMATEUR SKI CLUB ANNUAL OPEN HOUSE

The Watchung Amateur Ski Club invites skiers and snowboarders to its Annual Open House on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 7:00pm at the Mountainside Elks Club, 1193 US Highway 22 East in Mountainside, NJ. Come for an evening of fun including fabulous door prizes, ski resort reps, Club membership info and 2010-2011 trips, complimentary refreshments and cash bar. Established in 1938, the Watchung Amateur Ski Club is a warm, open and welcoming group whose members include singles, couples, married people and families, all ages, from beginners to experts.

2010-2011 trips include Okemo Mountain, VT, Dec. 11-12, Mount Snow, VT Jan. 21-23 for the Annual Club Outing that includes a Club NASTAR-style race and special club dinner, an 8-day trip to Sun Peaks, British Columbia Feb. 12-19, and Sugarbush Resort/Mad River Glen, VT March 10-13. The Club will also be running its one-day “Sunday Bus Trips” to Belleayre Mountain, NY (Dec. 19), Windham Mountain, NY (Jan. 2), Elk Mountain, PA (Feb. 6), Hunter Mountain (February 27) and a “Mystery Trip” (March 20). Social events including parties, pot luck dinners, hikes, bike rides and other activities are also held throughout the year.
