Event Description

Sid Jones began learning to garden as a child from his grandmother and both parents, and has gardened for over 40 years at his home in Randolph, NJ. At the February MGC meeting Sid will share his experiences and photos from the symposia he attended at the magnificent garden at Great Dixter, in Northiam, England; the 500 year old home and gardens that belonged to Christopher Lloyd, one of the best known writers on plantings and planting design, renowned for his use of color in the garden. The meeting will be held Monday, February 6, 7:30pm at the Maplewood Memorial Library, 51 Baker St., Maplewood, NJ. The meeting is open to the public, admission is free and refreshments (often home made!) are served. For more information visit maplewoodgardenclub.org.
