Colon cancer is the second largest cancer killer in the U.S. and yet, with recommended screening it is almost entirely preventable.
Topics that will be covered at this seminar include:
•Prevalence of colon cancer
•Recommended protocols for colon screening
•New and easier methods of preparation for colonoscopy
•New innovations in surgical procedures for colon cancer
•Eating and living well for optimal colon health
Glen Mogan, MD, Gastroenterologist and VP of Medical Affairs at the Saint Barnabas Outpatient Centers will moderate the program. Speakers will include Matthew Askin, MD, Gastroenterologist; Debra Tarantino, MD, Colorectal Surgeon; and Abby Blaustein, MS, RD, CDE, Manager, Siegler Center for Integrative Medicine, MS Comprehensive Care Center and Obesity and Weight Management Center.
